HOW IT WORKS

RISING TO THE CHALLENGE

Sign up and Schedule your preseason session

preseason - period prior to the beginning of the regular season which is devoted to training and preparation during your preseason session you'll tour the gym; get your access to the gym, your training apps and supplement accounts set up; review the program and how it works; get all your welcome material to stay organized; and get answers to any other questions you might have so you're ready to start! It'll take 1-2 hours and you can do this session alone or with friends and teammates!

Log into your training app and Set your schedule

Log into Train Heroic and Morpheus to set up your profiles. Get familiar with the apps and set up your training schedule. You'll get some pointers to help you schedule your training for optimal performance, and learn the basics of how to use the apps in your preseason session but we still recommend spending some time playing around with them before your first training session. TYPE OF TRAINING: Gator's Best Challenge 1 utilizes a program methodology called German Body Composition training otherwise known as GBC. GBC's GBC program (see what we did there) can and has been scaled way down for "I've never set foot in a gym before" beginners and all the way up to prepare Olympic Athletes for competition (your coach will Goldilocks it for you when you start), because its ruthlessly efficient at both building muscle and reducing fat. There are also conditioning workouts you can trade for strength days if you're short on time or insufficiently recovered (you'll be learning more about and monitoring that too!) The Challenges and program phases will progress as your work capacity and skill progresses so on average around Challenge 6 you'll have access to a greater variety of programming (other than GBC for more specialized results) and by then you'll have learned enough to make a highly educated choice for yourself but your Coach is always around to help.

Start training and Journal your questions

Start training! Remember to log your training results in the app so both you and your coach can review them over time. The app has video libraries of all exercises and you can communicate with your coach through the app if you need more guidance. Your coach will either provide feedback through the app for quick fixes or make a note to address more detailed solutions in person at the next workshop! Journal any and all - health, life, nutrition, hydration, training, sleep and anything else you might need guidance on - questions so your Coach can get you answers or get you connected with the right expert that has them! Write your questions down in the moment so you don't forget them, and keep them all in one place so you can keep a record of how much you're learning and growing! We recommend bringing your journal to workshops and seminars to take notes and stay organized.

Weekly: Check in with Coach, Submit seminar questions, Attend workshops and seminars

CHECK IN DAY: You'll get your weekly check in day when you sign up. Check in via the app the night before or by noon that day and address your top 3 questions. Your Coach will review your training log and address anything that stands out to them and discuss your questions. BY WEDNESDAY NIGHT Review your Question Journal and submit: Top 3 SEMINAR questions and any others you might have, and Top 3 WORKSHOP questions and any others you might have SEMINARS: Seminars are on Mondays. Seminars are designed to answer questions and teach you everything you need to know OUTSIDE of the gym in a fun easy to digest manner to familiarize you with advanced principles because there's no way around them if you want to feel confident making educated choices while avoiding the pitfalls of parasitic marketing. WORKSHOPS: Workshops are on Fridays and are hands on training technique days designed to answer questions and teach you everything you need to know INSIDE the gym. Note: As the program progresses and our community grows we'll begin to address beginner intermediate and advanced level seminars and workshops.

Check in with your team and Engage with your community in online groups and fun gym events

COMMUNITY GROUPS: Create a group for your team on our site and follow your teammates in Train Heroic so you can stay connected and motivate each other! You can also create or join groups for anything you want to find other members in the Gators Best Family to share and have fun experiences with! For example we've created a Kid Swap and Play Date group so you can keep it in the family if you need someone to watch your minis while you train or you want fun new friends for exploring and activities! We've also created a Movie Night group if you want to weigh in on what we're watching next!

COMPETE IN THE CHALLENGE!!!

CHALLENGE DAY!!! Check in with your Team on Challenge Day and you'll get a run down of the games you'll be competing in! Think FUN field day games that require a wide array of skills to succeed including strength, agility, teamwork, speed, and mental acuity to even the playing field. (Every Challenge will be different.) After the games we'll have food trucks and music and even more fun!

Awards and Prep for the next challenge

AWARDS AND PREP: The Winning Team is announced! If your team wins you get the next Challenge FREE! and your name gets added to the Gator's Best Cup... Think STANLEY CUP! Your team gets to to take it home and pass it around for the bragging rights before mounting it back at the gym just in time for the next challenge! PREP (THE REAL CHALLENGE) By now you've learned the real challenge is how much you've learned, grown and gained in the past 2 months from health and strength and knowledge to family and quality of life. We'll sit down as a family and talk about what we did well and what we're excited to improve on as we congratulate and support each other and set our intentions going into the next challenge!
